Afternoon Tea
Losing our beautiful aunt to pancreatic cancer was a hard loss. She loved bringing the family together and to honour her memory we hosted 23 guests for an Afternoon Tea in August 2026 to raise vital funds for life-saving research. With catering provided by Hadlow and Co. we raised £460 for pancreatic cancer research!
Wellness Reset Day
Wednesday 17th June 2026
We had the pleasure of hosting a wellness day retreat at Porters Hall, organised by an external third party, on Wednesday 17th June 2026.
This event brought together two local practitioners expertise in wellbeing, relaxation, and holistic care, offering guests a soulful and restorative experience in the peaceful surroundings of our manor house. Supporting this retreat is especially meaningful to us, as we are committed to working with and championing local businesses whose skills and passion enrich our community.
Collaborations like this not only provide exceptional experiences for our guests but also help sustain and celebrate the talented professionals who make our area so special.
A joyful engagement celebration
It was a privilege for Porters Hall to be chosen as the backdrop for the engagement photoshoot of lovebirds Saffron and Aaron in September 2025.
Their warmth, connection, and excitement for the future make the honour even greater, and there’s something magical about being invited into such a meaningful moment in their story.
Sharing Porters Hall With Our Local Community
In October 2025, we were delighted to open the doors of Porters Hall to our local community, welcoming around 80 residents for guided tours of the completed restoration.
Hosting this open day was especially important to us, as it allowed us to strengthen our engagement with the community and acknowledge the local support that has meant so much throughout the project. It gave neighbours the opportunity to see the transformation first‑hand, ask questions, and feel part of the building’s next chapter.
The warm response and genuine interest from those who attended reinforced just how meaningful it is to celebrate Porters Hall not only as a private space, but as a valued part of the wider community.
